🎓 IC Design Program
For Students from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India
Hosted by the Institute of Integrated Circuit Design (IICD), National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan
📘 Program Introduction
This program provides SRM students with the opportunity to learn IC design through online courses offered by NSYSU IICD.
Available Courses (3 credits):
- System-on-Chip Testing – Prof. Tong-Yu Hsieh <tyhsieh@mail.ee.nsysu.edu.tw>
Quota: Maximum 50 students per course.
Outcome: Students will receive a Completion Certificate and earn 3 credits after completing course, and these credits may be waived or transferred if they apply for the NSYSU IICD Master’s Program in the future.
💲 Tuition Fee
- USD 250 per course (excluding textbooks, handouts, and additional materials)

📋 Application Procedure
- Online Application (by August 10)
- Complete the IICD online application form.
- Upload: Headshot + Passport bio page
- Tuition Payment (by August 16)
- Pay via the NSYSU online payment system.
- Platform Account
- NSYSU will send your login account and password on August 31.
- Course Access
- Log in to the NSYSU platform, attend lectures, and complete assignments and exams.
- Completion
- Finish all course requirements by Dec. 24.

💸 Refund Policy
- 90% refund: Applications submitted before the course start date
- 50% refund: Within two weeks after the course start date
- No refund: More than two weeks after the course start date
- All service fees related to refunds shall be borne by the students.

Q1. What if I fail a course?
👉 You will not receive credits and certificate for that course.
Q2. What is the language of instruction?
👉 Courses are taught in English.
Q3. What are the benefits of earning credits?
👉 If you apply for admission to the NSYSU IICD Master’s Program in the future, you may apply for credit transfer with the earned credits.
Q4. How are the course schedule, assignments, and midterm/final exams conducted?
👉 For course schedules and assignments, please contact the course instructor or teaching assistant. Midterm and final exams will be conducted locally with SRM’s assistance.
